HourBuidling.net is proud to offer an accelerated way to gain your License and flight time whether you are career orientated or a recreational flyer. See below for a step by step guide to our accelerated procedure.
Gain your FAA Private Pilot License. This is much simpler than it is to go ahead and obtain an initial CAA PPL. 40 hours flight time is required with 1 theoretical exam and 1 flight test with an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE).
Build some flight time. Have some fun. If you are career orientated you are going to need as many hours under your belt as possible. As you will see in step 3, we recommend reaching 100 hours total for now.
Convert your FAA PPL to a CAA PPL. If you have 100 hours flight time or more you skip nearly all of the CAA theoretical exams. The CAA states that ICAO PPL holders with more than 100 hours flight time only have to complete theoretical knowledge exams in Air Law, Human Performance and pass a skills test with a CAA approved examiner.
FAA PPL - $11,600
60 hours experience hour building - $10,500
CAA conversion - No in house costs.
Total: $22,100
You can expect to pay examiner fees ($600-$1,000), FAA theory test ($160), airport badge ($25), medical certificates (FAA - $120), study materials (individual preference).
Not to worry, some people require that little extra. It is simply an hourly rate until proficient.
No, no and no. There are no landing fees in the United States, no VAT and fuel is included in the rates.
